When the first Bitcoin kiosk was installed in Vancouver, BC, Mike drove to Canada to buy his first bitcoin in person.
Mike spent months working with the State of Oregon to determine the necessary licensing requirements to legally operate a Bitcoin kiosk business in the state. Mike is proud of the work he did with the state, paving the path for Bitcoin businesses in Oregon and bringing easy access to Bitcoin to Portlanders.
Mike worked for seven years in the banking industry. Many of his clients were Small Business Owners and all of them were frustrated with the bank fees associated with payment processing.
Mike is a real person, whose full time job it is to help people understand how cryptocurrencies work.
